Description
The APV series full-voltage starters are built with the highest quality components to ensure the reliable starting and protection of single-phase and three-phase pumps and motors. They can include additional measurement and protection accessories for all applications.
The APV model starters include:
- Start/stop push-button station.
- Green indicator light for motor operation.
- Contactor.
- Short-circuit protection with a thermal-magnetic breaker or motor protector.
- Overload protection with an overload relay or motor protector.
- Control transformer for starters at 440 V.
- IP66 / NEMA 4 dustproof and waterproof metal enclosure with corrosion-resistant paint.
Optional Equipment
- Manual-Off-Automatic operation selector.
- Protection against low voltage, imbalance, and phase failure with Fasealert-3 model F3.
- Leakage detector in the seal and high-temperature model DFS-12 (1 per pump).
- Liquid Level Control Relay for Low Suction Level Protection, Model EN-3.
- Safety disconnect switch that cuts power when opening the cabinet.
- Three-phase RMS digital voltmeter with max/min voltage recording and frequency meter. Mounted on the cabinet door.
- Three-phase RMS digital ammeter with max current recording. Mounted on the cabinet door.
