Description
The T1B fire control panels for internal combustion engine with one battery cover most of the requirements indicated by the N.F.P.A. in its pamphlet #20. These panels control the automatic operation of a pump operated by an internal combustion engine.
The panel automatically starts the pump motor when there is a drop in pressure in the fire network. This drop is detected by the pressure switch, which sends the start signal to the control and initiates 6 start attempts of 10s alternating with 5 periods of 10s rest. When the pressure in the network rises, the pressure switch sends the stop signal to the control, which stops the motor after the set time in the stop delay has elapsed. The panel uses an intelligent automatic charger that keeps the system battery charged in optimal conditions, providing more security to the system and extending the life of the battery. For safety, it has an independent manual start system with a start button to start manually in case of an emergency.
A front LCD screen allows viewing the battery voltage, charger current, hour meter, digital tachometer, alarms, and system status. In case of a fault, the panel alerts with an audio-visual alarm and a remote alarm contact. Faults are stored in memory for later viewing on the screen after they occur.
