Description

The Series 40 pump pit emptying panels control the automatic operation of 1 to 4 pumps, alternating and simultaneous operation to maintain the pump pit empty within the levels previously set with level detectors (float switches).

The panels include contactors and protection against short circuits and overload, alternating and simultaneous control module, operation pilots for each pump, and selectors. It can be ordered with network connection for monitoring with Modbus RTU via RS-485 or Modbus TCP-IP via Ethernet.

The panel has a NEMA 4(IP66) dust and water-resistant metal cabinet with corrosion-resistant paint.

Optional Equipment

  • Protection against low voltage, imbalance, and phase failure with Fasealert-3 model F3.
  • Soft starters.
  • Modbus: Network connection for monitoring with Modbus RTU via RS-485 or Modbus TCP-IP via Ethernet.
  • Safety disconnect switch that cuts power when opening the cabinet.
  • Leakage detector in the seal and high-temperature model DFS-12 (1 per pump).
  • Mercury level detectors (float switches):
  • Visual and audible high-level alarm in the pump pit.
  • PD-640 protector against high-voltage discharges.
  • Three-phase RMS digital voltmeter with max/min voltage recording and frequency meter. Mounted on the cabinet door.
  • Three-phase RMS digital ammeter with max current recording. Mounted on the cabinet door.
