Features

  • Protects pumps against overload, phase failure, rapid cycling, voltage failures, and low suction levels, without the need for electrodes.
  • Equipped with button station: Start, stop, or Selector: Manual-Off-Automatic.
  • Pump-Monitor is mounted on the cabinet door, allowing viewing of currents, faults, configuration, and reset without opening the cabinet.

Description

The AP Series starters are used to start and protect three-phase or single-phase pumps. They provide protection against overload, rapid cycling, and low suction levels without the need for electrodes. For three-phase pumps, they also offer phase failure protection, while for single-phase pumps, they include additional protection against low and high voltage.

This panel is ideal for installations where using electrodes is difficult, such as deep wells and where a higher level of overload protection is required.

Pump-monitor is more effective and accurate in protecting against overload than standard overload relays and has a fast phase failure protection of maximum 5 seconds.

The AP Series starters include:

Contactors, three-phase or single-phase Pump-Monitor, short-circuit protection, start-stop button station in the standard starter. Manual-Off-Automatic selector on request, operation pilot light, and transformer, mounted in a dust and water-resistant NEMA 4 (IP66) metal cabinet with corrosion-resistant paint.

Optional Equipment

  • Manual-Off-Automatic operation selector.
  • Safety disconnect switch that cuts power when opening the cabinet.
  • Protection against low voltage, imbalance, and phase failure with Fasealert-3 model F3.
  • Soft starters.
  • Leakage detector in the seal and high-temperature model DFS-12 (1 per pump).
  • PD-640 protector against high-voltage discharges.
  • Three-phase RMS digital voltmeter with max/min voltage recording and frequency meter. Mounted on the cabinet door.
